Windows are supposed to set a minimum width. We don't work around broken applications. It might be a valid case to have small windows. We cannot restrict that. If you want to work around the broken window you can set a minimum width using window rules |

Some don't define a minim width, meaning that a window can potentially shrink to a single line (see gif). There should be some stopgap to prevent them from getting too small.
