STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select 'Preview mode'
2. Rotate a picture (I use the Rotate Right or Left button in overlay - same result with 'Item > Rotate')
3. See the result: the image is well rotated, but NOT the thumbnail (thumbnail of digikam ; I don't speak about embedded thumbnail)


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
1. No problem if rotation performed from 'Thumbnails' view instead of 'Preview' view
2. Pressing F5 to refresh -> thumbnail is correctly refreshed (rotated)
3. This bug appears between 6.0.0BETA1 and BETA2 (still present in BETA3)

This bug I should have fixed yesterday. You have activated or deactivated the option "Update file timestamp when files are modified"?

No, this option has always been deactivated
