I'm guessing you simply misunderstand how that dropdown works. When it is empty, the scrolling list includes ALL categories (both expense and income). Once you start typing, the list is reduced to only those categories which include the letters typed in the box. Please see if this is what is happening. If so, let us know and we can close as NOT A BUG. If not, please explain better why you think what you see is wrong, given my description of how categories should work. Thanks. Also, including both income and expense categories is actually necessary. As an example, if I have a transaction with some expense category, and I later get reimbursed for that, the transaction for the reimbursement uses the same expense category, even though this transaction is income, so that the category has the correct final total. Sorry, please close as NOT A BUG No problem. If you have any suggestions for the manual to make this more obvious, please let me know. Also, if you have any suggestions for making the program itself more intuitive, also let us know. |
