Confirmed, regression from http://code.qt.io/cgit/qt/qtquickcontrols2.git/commit/?id=953fbac6131823e4fce0eb4707a854469c4c04ff Sorry for being that guy, but maybe you shouldn't be using Qt beta. I'm also running it and I know there's several bugs that you'll keep finding. We're working on solving them all. One thing you could consider is seeing if there's a difference between running "plasma-discover" and "plasma-discover --mode installed". Antonio, do you know if it's reported? It will help to get a fix. I don't have the crash on my system though, so it may already have been fixed. (In reply to Aleix Pol from comment #2) > Sorry for being that guy, but maybe you shouldn't be using Qt beta. I don't think this is fair, many issues in Plasma have been reported (and some fixed) thanks to users testing and reporting them, which may not have otherwise been fixed by the time 5.12 is released. This is especially important for Qt, which tends to make quite invasive changes during the beta phase that cause regressions (beta 3 broke plasma-pa, now beta 4 breaks discover) (In reply to Aleix Pol from comment #3) > Antonio, do you know if it's reported? It may be related to https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-71467 (In reply to Aleix Pol from comment #2) > One thing you could consider is seeing if there's a difference between > running "plasma-discover" and "plasma-discover --mode installed". It also crashes with "plasma-discover --mode installed". I can reproduce this crash now, only at close though. And I confirm that reverting 953fbac6131823e4fce0eb4707a854469c4c04ff in QQC2 fixes the crash. This is a crash in Qt: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-71770 |
