SUMMARY
I have on the same KMail instance my work and personal accounts. It would be very useful if I could at the end of the business day deactivate the work account, so it doesn't sync and I don't get notifications, unless I manually tell it to. The way I imagine this is to set my work hours, and have that account active only in that period.

A workaround would be:

* Go to File -> Work offline
* Select the root item of the account you want online, right click it and select refresh

This way all accounts would be offline and only the "Personal" one can be online.

Triggering a refresh all would bring all accounts online.
