Sorry, we cannot support such old versions. You're running software that's more than two years old. See https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Bug_Reporting#Step_2:_Make_sure_it_hasn.27t_already_been_fixed Please update if possible. That's what's available in Debian stretch; by the way, I upgraded that machine two days ago, it was still on jessie with KDE 4 because it's being used by people who don't like to be inflicted a different user experience every year. I don't even use Kwallet, I found the bug while trying to completely turn it off. I may take a closer look if I have time, but I don't have KDE source code ready to build (much less an up-to-date working copy). (In reply to Flavio Stanchina from comment #2) > it was still on jessie with KDE 4 because it's being used by people who > don't like to be inflicted a different user experience every year. Well, such people can't expect support, then. :) That's the trade-off you make when you use old open-source software. This stuff moves fast. Yep, is already fixed in newer versions, see bug 373964. If you want to report it to your distribution to backport the crash fix, the commit is: https://cgit.kde.org/kwalletmanager.git/commit/?id=a1f607094655f80c189dbda3c6017540a9316fde *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 373964 *** Thanks, will do. |
