No menu drop shadow

SUMMARY
Gtk apps, firefox, chrome and libreoffice don't have menu drop shadow. Kde apps have.
It is annoying as the menu merges with background and is hardly focused
Intel driver

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open geany gtk app
2. Press whatever menu

OBSERVED RESULT
Menu without shadow

EXPECTED RESULT
Menu with shadow
