When I first opened up Krita, all the brushes worked, but when I closed and re-opened it now suddenly only aa few brushes work. I've tried very hard to get it to work but I can't.

Hi Benedikt,

This is a bug tracker, not a user support forum, and this is not bug but a support question. You haven't given us enough information to figure out what you're actually doing -- it could be that you've created a really small selection in your image, or that you've selected a blending mode that doesn't affect the pixels on your current layer or that you locked the layer. Or something else altogether.

The only thing that's certain is that Krita's brush system isn't broken, since hundreds of thousands of people use it daily.
