Description Gustavo Castro 2018-10-31 21:57:21 UTC
SUMMARY
Shouldn't the dark variant of Breeze use the Breeze Snow cursor theme by default? It's easier to find due the contrast difference, while with defaults happens the opposite.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use the default "Breeze Dark" Look and Feel

OBSERVED RESULT
The cursor is dark, similar to the other components

EXPECTED RESULT
The cursor should be differentiated from the other components using a higher contrast.

SOFTWARE VERSIONS
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.51.0
Qt Version: 5.11.2

The existing Breeze cursor isn't as dark as most dark themes and has a bright white outline, so it stands out fairly well against a variety of backgrounds. Breeze Snow only really stands out well against dark backgrounds. Most web pages and documents use white backgrounds. The background color of Breeze Snow is very similar to white and the border contrast isn't as strong as the Breeze cursor, so it's easier to lose when web browsing or reading documents. I suppose that could be fixed in the future, but it wouldn't be the same as Breeze Snow
(now called Breeze Light).
