1 //// Grouping: When multiple img selected: group / ungroup / etc

Group / ungroup (atleast) on toolbar (or icons on statusbar) would make grouping faster than context-right click > menu > menu > ....

2A //// Autogrouping by filename doesn't seem to excel...(?)

2B //// Test: selected some 1500 images > autogroup by time > it grouped all selected images.. not just "similar".

Does album view need to be organized by time, name, other when auto-grouping?

What is the exact problem with 2A? Same base names are grouped. As an example: IMG-0100.NEF and IMG-0100.JPG and IMG-0100.PNG

NOt grouping! beta3.

Select view by filename.
Select all.
Choose group by filename.
Not grouping!

Filenames are like: "file name 1 032.jpg"

Grouping tools in the toolbar? Would be great!
Comment 5 Maik Qualmann 2018-11-07 07:51:36 UTC
I think you misunderstand the grouping function by filename. Files with the same base name and different extensions (.CR2, .JPG, .PNG) are only grouped.

I agree with Maik comment #5. The original problem is fixed now.
