STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start Wayland.
2. Select 'Breeze' as windows task switcher.
3. Press Alt+Tab shortcut fast - without waiting for Breeze task switcher animation to complete

OBSERVED RESULT
Very often empty Breeze task switcher window fades out - not having time to display current windows

EXPECTED RESULT
The Breeze task switcher doesn't appears if it's not having time to display current windows - same as in X session

This issue report is quite old. Neither Patrick nor me could reproduce it. Can you please confirm, that it still persists with Plasma 5.23?
