STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open 'Displays' system settings module.
2. Press 'Defaults' button in the settings module window.
3. Resize the 'Displays' window.

OBSERVED RESULT
'Displays' window is resizing but its contents isn't updating

Fixed in Plasma 5.12, 5.14 and master branches.
