(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kate
Version: 2.0 (using KDE 3.0.0 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (ppc) release 2.4.18-powerpc
OS/Compiler notes:

One of two very annoying bugs in kate:

Occasionally with multiple files open and after switching between them the mouse cursor will disappear when over the main view. If this happens for document 'A' and I switch to document 'B' it will appear while over 'B' but switching back to 'A' won't make it reappear there.

Don't know if this is already known but, this bug appears to be in Kate version 2.1
using KDE 3.1.1 as well -- lastly, if a fix has been made for this, would it be
possible to get a patch for it ??

TIA,
