SUMMARY

It often happens to me that I leave my phone laying in a far corner of my room and playing music on a bluetooth speaker. While I am working on my desktop. Can media control buttons also work in reverse: control playback on an Android phone?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect an Android phone with KDE Connect application to a KDE desktop
2. (optionally) Connect the Android device to a speaker (e.g. via Bluetooth)
3. Start media playback

OBSERVED RESULT
No way to control the playback on KDE Plasma

EXPECTED RESULT
Controls for playback can appear in the KDE Connect widget and/or Plasma

SOFTWARE VERSIONS
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.50
Qt Version: 5.11.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This feature can also prove useful when doing screen casting from an Android device
