STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Right click on desktop
2. Select Add windgets
3. Click into Search field above widgets and try to type

OBSERVED RESULT
You cant or what you type goes into Krunner

EXPECTED RESULT
You can search widgets by typing into search field.
