There are no updates available at this time.

Two updates are still listed as available on the Discover icon on the system tray.

I forgot to add this to my original report:

Is it possible that it's coming from flatpak? "flatpak update"
Comment 4 Brian Wright 2018-10-17 13:05:41 UTC
I ran "flatpak update" and it did update and install two flatpak packages. As a precaution, I also ran "snap refresh" but those were up to date.

This resolved the issue and there were no updates listed.

It seems that plasma-discover didn't update the flatpaks when it updated the regular deb packages, unless I missed a setting.

Should setting either snap or flatpak as default pull in those packages as well?

No, don't worry, this a different bug.
