SUMMARY
Selecting an item and hitting delete or shift-delete has stopped working.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select an item on the desktop.
2. Hit delete or shift-delete.

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens.

EXPECTED RESULT
A dialog should appear asking whether I want to move the item to trash (when delete is pressed) or to delete it (when shift-delete is pressed).
