Maybe something with the graphic card. Update the graphic card driver and try with the actual Kdenlive AppImage version 18.08.2 Please try with the actual Kdenlive AppImage version 18.08.2 Run the Appimage from the terminal (press CTRL + ALT + T). Move to the AppImage folder and run the .AppImage: ./Kdenlive*.AppImage First and foremost, please test with latest available version 18.08.3. I upgraded the packages on the Gentoo system. Kdenlive is now at the latest version. 'equery l -p kdenlive' now shows 'kde-apps/kdenlive-18.08.3:5'. The bug is now fixed. Starting the program and selecting quit from the menu no longer causes a segfault, and drkonqi no longer is automatically triggered. I guess this bug can be closed, or marked as resolved, I don't know what the exact terminology is. Thank you for the feedback. I close this bug. If it still appears, please feel free to re-open it and update the affected version number. |
