Alternatively Albums could be displayed with above described possibilities in the main thumb/list/table view...

But perhaps more icon/thumb sizes for the treeview panel would suffice?

Plus of course tags, colors, stars.

All common icon sizes are now supported, 16, 22, 32, 48 and 64. An image can be set as an album thumbnail, either via the right mouse button menu above the image or by Drag & Drop to the album. I am not sure about the wish to rating the albums, I do not think so.
