Related to (duplicated of?) https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=332948 May be yes. I believe Dolphin now prevents you from even trying to change the permissions as it looks at the permissions before the action is taken. Nikunj can you please retest on a recent version of Dolphin as I am unable to reproduce this. @Justin Yes, it seems solved now as it won't allow paste if permission is not available to do the operation. Created attachment 115367 [details] too many alert I have one folder created with many files and folder inside it. The folder user is www-data and groups is also www-data. I have same folder in another directory with user is niks and group is niks (login user). If folder is not writable it show too many alert(Alert for each file) that could not change permission. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Copy folder from directory which is user as niks 2. paste same folder to another directory which haven't permission. 3. showing too many alerts 4.
