Thanks for the report. I was not sure what to do with this. I am collecting a lot of new features and plan to add them as junior jobs open for new contributors. This one will be a part of that. Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately we were not able to get to it yet. Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with either Plasma 5.27.11 (the current LTS version) or Plasma 6.1.0 (the latest released version). Greetings Daniel Bad news here as of 23-Jun-2024... To see if there's such a modifier "-p" for the command line like there is in strawberry or amarok, I tried first "--help" and got this: $ elisa --help elisa: error while loading shared libraries: libvlc.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Then I tried launching it from the plasma / kde start menu and got this: Launching Elisa (Failed) Could not activate remote peer 'org.kde.elisa': unit failed I'm using: Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0 Qt Version: 6.7.1 Kernel Version: 6.6.34-1-lts (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 8 × AMD Ryzen 7 3700U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx Memory: 13,6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon Vega 10 Graphics Manufacturer: Acer Product Name: Aspire A315-42 System Version: V1.11 Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
