Description grouchomarx.fr 2018-09-30 19:42:55 UTC
When dragging the list with the left button of the mouse, the list can go out of bounds (beyond what is possible with the scroll bar, or the scroll wheel) and the text starts to look aliased.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open discover with the side panel menu mode
2. Left click on the list and drag the list downwards

OBSERVED RESULT
The list goes down and once it goes out of bounds (and white space is introduced), the text is starting to look aliased.

EXPECTED RESULT
The text shouldn't be aliased.
Or maybe the list should simply not go out of bounds.

I suspect this is Bug 393202, but a picture would help to confirm. Can you attach one?

Indeed, it looks very similar.

It doesn't seem to be affected by the size of the font.
It is only triggered when the list is scrolled beyond the first or the last line.
The text is perfectly fine otherwise.

Yep, same root cause.
