Thanks for the report. I have never heard about such an issue before, so I suspect this is some snap packaging specific issue. Okteta itself does nothing special when it comes to UI fonts loading. Please report this issue instead with the persons doing the snap package, they will need to look into what they create there and/or help you with resolving this. The snap is published by KDE, but I am unable to find any information on who to contact regarding the issue. My bad, seems there might be indeed some people doing snaps in the name of "KDE". I was not aware of that. On some first quick search I could not find any information on who did that and who would be maintaining those packages, so who would care here. I will come back to you once I found out more. I should have mentioned that in the original message So could reach some people who could shed light into things: That "KDE" provider on snapcraft is actually the KDE neon team in their effort to make snap using community happy with all the software products developed in the KDE community. They do not have many resources available currently, that is also why those snaps are only in Beta & Candidate channels. They hope to get more active again once Bionic can be used as base. Still having published those snaps means that your, the user/tester's, feedback should be collected in some proper place. I filed an issue with the KDE neon time by bug #399171 so there hopefully soon is a proper place where general snap packaging issues can be reported to and collected. The actual bug you reported is known to them (filed in their brain only :) ), so hopefully will be fixed while they look into newer snap packages. Keeping bug status as Downstream for now, because that's what it is for me as Okteta code maintainer, and will move once their is a proper bug tracker here. |

I am using i3 as a window manager, the nvidia proprietary driver. I've included the output log. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Launch okteta.
