What I was doing when the application crashed: Leaving fullscreen in mpv media player.

Unusual behavior I noticed: Extra screen flicker, weird black boxes in the lower right corner of the screen while fullscreen in mpv (doesn't happen under Xfwm4, see: https://i.imgur.com/fiiwcpO.png - quite odd, normal KDE applets are under those boxes, but not also under...)

Settings:
- KWin: Compositor enabled w/ OpenGL 3.1, scale method accurate, vsync automatic, applications allowed to block compositioning, instant animations (slider completely to the left). Effects enabled: Track mouse, Zoom, Desaturate Unresponsive, Screen Edge, Translucency, WIndow Aperture, Desktop Grid, Present Windows. Focus stealing prevention none.
- mpv.conf: vo=vaapi hwdec=vaapi hwdec-codecs=all video-sync=display-resample interpolation tscale=oversample

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.

After some investigation, this primarily occurs due to mpv's vo=vaapi on Intel Graphics HD 530 (Mesa 18.2.0 drivers). Rapidly hitting F to go into/out of fullscreen practically instacrashes KWin all the time.

This is a frequently occuring crash with Arch, see [1]

To investigate, please compile libepoxy and KWin with debug information, and add an updated backtrace of the crash.

I also suggest to report this issue to the bug tracker of your distribution, as the issue might be related to libepoxy integration and/or in glibc.
