*** Bug 410193 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I would like this functionality also... I would like this functionality also... See my related report: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=410193 *** Bug 406833 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 419963 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I was about to file a feature request about this, then noticed someone already did that a year ago. In the latest Nate's blog post (https://pointieststick.com/2021/10/22/this-week-in-kde-fingerprint-reader-and-nvidia-gbm-support) he's announcing Plasma 5.24 will finally be compatible with fingerprint devices. As a mainly desktop computers user, it's hard to have such a device, while I always carry with me my phone. It'd be very handy to use my device's fingerprint sensor for fingerprint authentication. *** Bug 453358 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** It has been suggested in Bug 410193 and Bug 453358 to use KDE Connect for this purpose. |
