I have about 10 GB RAM and 20 GB swap memory. When RAM usage reaches about 8 GB and swap usage about 10 GB I can't log out and shut down the system anymore. Even invoking "qdbus org.kde.ksmserver /KSMServer org.kde.KSMServerInterface.logout 0 2 2" does not work. I only shut down my machine invoking "shutdown now" which makes plasma forget it's current state. How can I log out and shut system down in a non-emergency-way at heavy swap usage?

Well, the problem with running out of memory y swap respectively is resolved and thus this problem did not show up anymore. If it still exists in case of a memory shortage I can't tell.
