- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I was calling an application from desktop when plasma crashed
- Unusual behavior I noticed:
When writing the name of the app I wanted to open, plasma crashed. I had to open the app from start menu
- Custom settings of the application:

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.

Appstream version 0.12.2-2 - No newer candidates, I think.

It's not the same issue we were having in the menu. It's actually weird, crashing upon construction.

A backtrace with debug symbols would be useful I guess.

Not much we can do with this bug report as is. Could be a threading issue in AppStream.
