Ubuntu 18.04.1

from ppa.launchpad.net_rkward-devel_rkward-stable-cran_ubuntu_dists_bionic_main_binary-amd64_Packages

Version: 0.7.0b-1.1rkward.stable~bionic
Depends: ..., r-base-core (>= 3.4.4-1), r-base-core (<< 3.5.0), ...

I use r-base-core 3.5.1-1bionic.

RKWard is not installable actually because the dependencies cannot be resolved. But I installed it anyway.

It runs without any problems.

Please adjust the dependencies because the package management now always nags about a broken package.

This is not a KDE bug. Please bring it up to the Ubuntu folks, who do the packaging.

I don't know what to do here.

Hi,

I have now triggered a rebuild, and I think this should fix the issue. Please let us know, if any issues persist.

Thanks!

You report it to the Ubuntu folks using their own bug tracker https://launchpad.net/

Though it sounds like maybe Thomas has already done what needed doing?

@nate: it's actually not really a ubuntu problem, but was indirectly caused by us: it addresses an issue with one of our PPA repositories we maintain for ubuntu users, to offer them RKWard builds for the most recent stable R release (instead of the version that comes with ubuntu and soon lacks behind):

https://launchpad.net/~rkward-devel

rebuilding our package and thus updating the dependencies should fix it.

Update of RKWard worked. Problem solved. Thanks to all involved parties.
