Konsole 18.08 no longer shows a popup message when dropping a file. It just copies the file url to the terminal.

I thinks it has something to do with _dropUrlsAsText

This was done on purpose - the default is no menu - there's a profile option to enable the menu if you want.
Profile->Mouse->Disable drag & drop menu for files &URLs
