Screenshot of Former Appearance

The SystemLoadViewer widget has lost its display of cache memory. It has shown this since the beginning and now, all of a sudden, it's gone.

I have attached a screenshot that shows the former look this widget had. The green portion in the bar graph has been omitted in the latest version of this applet.

Please restore the old behavior that has been there for years.

Is this still an issue or relevant with the new System Monitor applet in Plasma 5.19 and beyond?

Patch To Restore Cache Display and Allow Hover

This simple patch restores the previous behavior of System Load Viewer. This applet is very simple to configure and duplicates the behavior we had even before Plasma was introduced. I fail to understand why it was changed.

The new System Monitor Sensor is very tedious and opaque with its configuration. It doesn't display the same information it its tooltip.

Nice Tooltip Display With Original Applet

The patch attached allows the tooltip to remain displayed while it updates and the user can take in all the data before it disappears like it does without the patch.

I'm closing this report, since the System Load Viewer is no longer a part of KDE Plasma. My apologies that we weren't able to fix this.
