Description Eumel 2018-08-22 22:02:11 UTC
I am using kdenlive-18.08-beta18-x86_64.AppImage

I have a video that starts as a vertical video and then in the middle rotates and gets a normal video (in 4K), and I want to convert that to a normal 1080p video.
This has the effect that the video is marked for rotation by the camera (phone), and then is imported by kdenlive using the autorotate functionality, thus the video is vertical in the beginning. (I am using a Proxy, as it is 4K)

Now when I apply the "Transform", this works nearly as expected, such that I can rotate only the 2nd half of the video, with a linear motion inbetween.
However, in the preview, the red frame is shown to have a 16:9 format with the video vertically in the middle, whereas it should have (due to autoration) a 9:16 format.

Also, there is a "Rotate from Center" checkbox in the same dialogue.
However, the "resize" functionality does not care about that setting, and still resizes from the top left. It would be cool if "resize" would resize from the center, when that checkbox is checked (like "transform from center"). Or if there would be an additional "resize from center" checkbox.

Hi, are you still able to reproduce this with latest appimage?
