Could you check the canvas accelaration settings in settings/configure Krita/display? Canvas Graphics acceleration: checked. Render: Auto(Open GL) Scaling: High quality Filtering Use texture buffer: checked Before the graphics card change I had 5 crashes in three days. After I only used for a day but no crashes so far. It seems much more stabe, maybe it is some incompatibility with the inboard card. Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. Please provide the requested information as soon as possible and set the bug status as REPORTED. Due to regular bug tracker maintenance, if the bug is still in NEEDSINFO status with no change in 30 days, the bug will be closed as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME due to lack of needed information. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! When using the integrated card, you should select Angle, instead of OpenGL. Integrated GPU drivers often have problems. We try to blacklist the known broken ones, but that list never is complete... Angle works around by using direct3d. Oh, I also should say sorry, because you provided the information I needed to give this answer already in August. I am so much behind with my bug mail... Since I discovered I wasn't using the right video card this issue is no longer a problem for me but it was severe enough that I almost gave up on krita. This is a serious issue for new users. Krita should auto select the dedicated video card or give a warning during instalation for users to do so. Krita tries to autoselect Angle for integrated cards, especially to avoid those driver bugs that cause crashes. In fact, all Intel GPU's get angle automatically. Oh, but could you please give us brand, type and driver version for your integrated card? INTEL(R) HD GRAPHICS 4600 DRIVER 10.18.15.4248 That driver is so old it basically falls outside the range of driver versions we try to detect, but Krita still should Angle by default... |
