Digikams icon view with wasted space

Created attachment 114417 [details] Digikams icon view with wasted space Since the appimage of 20180707 (approx) there is a large empty space in the Digikam main view area. Right clicking on it provides a checkbox labeled "Digikam thumbnail dock" but this doesn't make sense in icon view. Also, if I enable it in icon view and then enter preview mode (where it does make sense as an option) and then exit again, it is gone, so the state does not seem to be saved either. Please remove it for icon view or at least let Digikam's main icon view use the space like previously. Thank you!
