Do you have set the project settings before you put in the first clip into the bin? Project –> project settings -> I set it for instance to “HD 1080p 50 fps”. And try again. Which version of Kdenlive do you use? I have the same problem. I am using 18.08.1 on Windows. I am able to import the clip after checking Settings >> Configure - Kdenlive >> Bypass codec verification. Seems like the bug is probably related to how codecs are verified with the new codebase. @Michael Backus : press Win + R (Windows key and R key simaltenously) and type APPDATA (all caps). Find the kdenlive folder, and within it rename kdenliverc to kdenliverc.old. Bit more in detail how to delete Kdenliverc (point “Any critical bug”): https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manual/Windows_Issues. Does this solve the issue? It's been awhile, but I believe your suggestion in comment 3 solved the problem. Thank you for the feedback. We closed this bug. If it still appears in the latest version, please feel free to re-open it and update the affected version number. |
