The kbd indicator applet is shown in the tray popout but has no description, making it impossible for the user to discern why it is there and what it is good for.
Ideally the plasmoid shouldn't show up if nothing needs indicating. Alternatively, it should at least render a nice description of itself if nothing needs indicating.

It could set its status to Hidden but then you might render it inaccessible if you configure it to eg. indicate Num Lock when you don't have one.

Perhaps we first need the ability to open applets configuration from System Tray settings?

Actually, as it turns out you can pop-out the applet even when it is in tray. So probably the pop out needs disabling somehow. Or, again, description of what is going on or something
