when I try to open computer, desktop or home folder K3b start up. how do I get to these applications, or stop K3b from starting ever time I open any of these apps.

Either you have k3b in autostart, use session restoration, or set k3b as the default association for Folders. I suggest to ask for help in a forum, not in a bug tracker.
