So I have a laptop with a light up keyboard I want to use to type on my desktop. My desktop keyboard hurts my eyes at night since it doesnt light up.

I have tried initiating the pairing from the laptop and initiating the pairing from the desktop. I have checked to make sure the option is enabled on both and on the laptop only. unpaired and repaired multiple times

What is infuriating is I know that the functionality is there because the little text box you type in shows up on my desktop monitor so I can use the desktop keyboard to write on laptop but can not get the reverse effect. also had it working on a previous install that I unfortunately overwrote.

Maybe I need to update a .conf file or something.

please enlighten me.

Steps to reproduce:
Initiate a pairing from one desktop/laptop install of kubuntu or neon to another desktop install of kubuntu or neon. I have Tried both. neon dev stable and user. If it shows the text entry box on one then unpair and repair again it wont be there the second time or maybe it will maybe i am goin crazy

This has been implemented, but isn't yet available in Neon dev stable or user. If it still doesn't work in Neon dev unstable please reopen
