Description causeytaylor3 2018-08-01 06:37:46 UTC
I have a few problems that are super annoying and make me want to not use krita anymore. Im not sure what im doing wrong but ive been working to fix this all day.
-Pen size does not save: When switching in between brushes the size resets to the default everytime. I would like to keep the same pen size regardless if i used another brush for something else. Its super annoying jumping from a 5 pt brush to 50 when you're trying to get stuff done quickly.

-Tabs don't save/pens cant be added to tabs: I have a tab for all the brushes i need to work with when i draw. Sometimes brushes will disappear from my tab and then be unable to get added back in. restarting the program helps but i'm not going to restart the program every 20 minutes.

-Eraser shortcut doesn't work sometimes: I have a shortcut button on the pen i use for my tablet! Rarely when i start krita will the shortcut button work but most of the time it doesn't at all, wasting time and making it extremely annoying to jump back and forth from the pen to the eraser (also resetting my pen size). Restarting krita sometimes works but most of the time doesn't.

These problems are causing me to look for a new program to draw with! Please fix this!!

I'm sorry, but this is a bug tracker, not a user support forum. We cannot handle reports that contain four or five different issues.

As far as I can see, presets remember their size when switching back and forth and don't reset. But you need to have "temporarily save tweaks to presets" enabled for that.

Your eraser problem probably has been reported as: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=389022 You might be able finetune the way the eraser works witht he two eraser options in the brush preset editor popup.

Various problems with tags (at least, I suspect you mean tag when you write tab) have been reported: https://bugs.kde.org/buglist.cgi?bug_status=UNCONFIRMED&bug_status=CONFIRMED&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&component=Tagging&order=Importance&product=krita&query_format=advanced -- and I'm actively working on rewriting the tagging system.
