Workaround: The filter dialog is non-modal. You can create a new folder in the main menu while having the filter dialog open. The folder list in the filter dialog will update itself to include the new folder. Hi, You're right Marc, but this is only a workaround and people not so used to ALT+TAB sport may find this manipulation rather boring. So as Stewart noticed, I think a "new folder" button would definitely be welcomed. BTW, the menu is FARLY too small wich makes searching in a long list of folder rather difficult. Combining the two remarks, may I suggest that the folder menu be replaced by a folder tree (like in kmail's main window) on the right of the flitering dialog (like the filters list on the left). This way, new folders could be added right clicking on the parent folder & search for the suitable folder so much easier. Best regards, & thanks for all. Tarax Related to this: When right-clicking a folder, the view switches, which is annoying. I may want to create several filters from a new inbox / newly subscribed lists etc. and having to switch from dialog to dialog is not very conventient for people who process large ammounts of email. *** Bug 93228 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 103869 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 101392 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** SVN commit 418840 by gungl: Allow the creation of new folders in the folder selection dialog FEATURE:39697 GUI: M +71 -3 kmfolderseldlg.cpp M +14 -1 kmfolderseldlg.h M +12 -6 kmfoldertree.cpp M +3 -3 kmfoldertree.h |
