Description cshobe 2002-03-22 21:36:13 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: general
Version: unknown (using KDE 2.2.2 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.17
OS/Compiler notes:

I used the Control Center/Key Bindings to set my 'Help' key as the Application Shortcut for Help instead of F1. When I pressed Custom Key and pressed the Help key it recognized it as the Help key. However now when I click the Help menu in any application the shortcut for Contents is shown as <4184?> instead of Help. This is where it previously showed F1. I'm using a Sparcstation workstation to run X but am running KDE off of a remote Intel server.

I'm going to need more information for this, since it works correctly on my
linux box:
	1) list of a couple specific programs where the problem shows up
	2) the output from 'xmodmap -pke | grep Help'
	3) the console output from 'xev' when you press the Help key

This seems to have been fixed since 2.2.2.
