The interpolation  filter options are available only in Free and Perspective modes. Would be nice to have them available in other modes as well, at the very least Nearest Neighbor mode or alternative, so that sharp lines done with binary brushes could be preserved

I'm sorry, but that's not possible, since those transform modes use an algorithm that doesn't use the basic transform interpolation.
