Description Adrien D 2018-07-18 16:03:33 UTC
Hi team KDE,

I have a strange problem with kdenlive-18.04.3, but the same with 18.04.2, 18.04.1 and 17.12.x version.
Bug is systematic.
I have a MKV Video, and when i try to make a render, my memory increase from 5Go used to 8Go used (max RAM on my PC). The system swap and crash.
There are a memory leak.
The same project make with the 18.04.2 version of KDENLIVE on this same system, but with the appimage from kdenlive project have no memory leak.

I think the problem is very difficult to solve. And i don't know how can i help you.

My laptop is an Asus N76VZ, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3610QM CPU @ 2.30GHz

I attach a link to a video to show you my problem !

Reproducible: Always

I opened a bug on Gentoo bugzilla https://bugs.gentoo.org/658078 ans they answer : look up the upstream forums; search in their bug tracker
