The problem I find KDE connect faces is lack of user interaction. The settings are fine by default but what about the messaging configuration, the manual configurations that makes the modules effective to use for personal use, on android and desktop. On Android it should be a menu entry for history files gained or sent, even to be able to send multiple files (less clicking on the same menu entry of sending each individual file). On Desktop, this is actually fine but sending multiple files from desktop should still be implemented.

Example - If I want to store my downloads some other place automatically/default/prompt every time where. I can change the directory of where it will be stored but not if it can be prompted every time.

The Desktop version does not have an "About" application notification, I cannot find out what version I am using as a user.

The Desktop version does not have an "Encryption Info" entry available, since desktop can connect with other desktops, it should be able to have such information.

Thank you for the bug report, and I'm sorry we didn't manage to get to it before. KDE Connect depends on the specifics of the device and network configuration. We recommend that you first try the troubleshooting steps at https://userbase.kde.org/KDEConnect#Troubleshooting, and if these do not work, try asking at discuss.kde.org or your distibution's support forums. Bug reports are only actionable for developers if the cause can be clearly identified and is something that can be fixed on our end, and at those places you can get help with narrowing this down and making it actionable for developers.

I am closing this bug report, but please do not hesitate to file a new one if you can narrow down the issue to a particular cause that can be fixed in KDE Connect.
