demonstration

open discover
click "settings" in the sidebar
click some repo to show its apps
click some app to show its description
click the left arrow in the header bar: now the app description is partially visible
click the same arrow again: the arrow becomes disabled and the app description is still partially visible.

Watch the screencast recorded on neon dev unstable.

Does the situation resolve itself if you resize the window at all (even just a little bit)?

No.
Comment 3 Nate Graham 2018-07-13 21:15:29 UTC
Darn. Thanks for checking!

FWIW, I can't reproduce using git master. What version are you using?
Comment 4 Patrick Silva 2018-07-13 21:46:54 UTC
5.13.2+p16.04+git20180704.1135-0

Also reproducible with discover 5.13.3 on Arch Linux.

@Nate this will happen because we are not popping the pages. It's Kirigami by design. Maybe it should be revisited.
Comment 6 Aleix Pol 2018-10-08 14:01:39 UTC
Looked at this issue again. Yes, the arrows should stay visible, that's the actual problem.

That said, playing with the window width does make the buttons appear for me.
Comment 7 Patrick Silva 2019-03-02 15:54:38 UTC
Still valid on neon dev unstable.

KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.80

Qt Version: 5.12.0
Comment 8 Felipe Kinoshita 2022-05-05 18:14:58 UTC
This doesn't happen to me anymore, can anyone test it?
