See the screenshot taken on neon dev unstable.
Download speed only is available when I install updates or packages from the distro repos.

Same on Arch Linux, discover 5.14.1.
I tested installing flowblade video editor from flathub.

Note it needs libflatpak 1.1.3 (1.1.2 is broken, will compile but discover
will crash at boot).

I also have this issue. It would be really good to see the speed in Snap backend.
