Description tromzy 2018-07-04 14:32:07 UTC
On Youtube, with Falkon, if I middle click a video to open it in a new tab, it starts playing as soon as the tab is created. The video should start playing only when I go to the tab, like on Firefox on Chromium.
Comment 1 ulianich_mihail 2018-07-06 18:01:02 UTC
Also, video must not start playing on browser start up until user will explicitly got to the its tab
Comment 2 ulianich_mihail 2018-07-06 18:05:43 UTC
* untile user explicitly go to its tab
Comment 3 ulianich_mihail 2018-07-06 18:06:11 UTC

Fixed in QtWebEngine 5.12
Comment 6 Raphael Rosch 2020-01-17 07:11:51 UTC
on falkon git master as of 2020 Jan 17

QtWebEngine version 5.12.5
(packages installed are actually:
qt5-qtwebengine-5.12.6-1.fc30.i686
qt5-qtwebengine-freeworld-5.12.6-1.fc30.i686
)
Frameworks 5.64
Linux Fedora Core 30 - 32bit

The problem still occurs. Not fun when you restart a session with multiple youtube videos.. which all try to play at the same time.
