Do you have anti-aliasing explicitly disabled for a range of fonts in System Settings > Fonts > Configure? Also, what font are you using? What Qt version? What KDE Frameworks version? Wouldn't this mean that the default font is not being anti-aliased at all?

The problem can be solved
The problem can be solved by deleting the word "Regular" from the file "~/.config/kdeglobals"
