Description pmargeti34 2018-06-26 08:54:01 UTC
Issue:
Calendar popup of digital clock has dates highlighted with selection background color on first use; e.g. if selection background color is set to green, entire month will have green background in all dates except current day. Current day of the month isn't affected.

Hovering mouse over affected dates changes their highlight color to the correct color.

Subsequent use of digital clock popup renders all dates with correct color.

Expected result:
Calendar dates have correct background color on first use

Reproducible:
On first use of digital clock popup

System info:
OS: Arch Linux
Plasma: 5.13.1
Qt: 5.11.1

Can you provide a screenshot? Could this be Bug 394423?
Comment 2 pmargeti34 2018-06-27 11:15:34 UTC
I will try, but it'll be difficult as it's not always reproducible. As for Bug 394423 - Incorrect ""today" highlight in clock/calendar view, I don't think it's that, for me the entire month appears as if mouse hovered.

Mouse was moved over 1, 15,16,23,24. Current date is 27. All other dates have wrong highlighting.

Closing the popup and re-opening it produces normal calendar popup. Note the background color of days.

I don't use plasmashell anymore, so I have no way of providing you with an update.
Comment 9 Nate Graham 2021-08-07 17:30:51 UTC
Sorry to hear that. Regardless, the code that produced this bug has been substantially overhauled so in principle it should not be possible to still happen.
