When i bind a tool to the keyboard V, it does not select it unless you continuously hold down V. Otherwise it defaults back to the select shapes tool.

I've tried with a few different tools and all seem to do the same. However with Mirror bound it works out since it now toggles instead of instant reset when released.

Yes, that is because the V key is set to use the straightline tool in the canvas input settings, first unbind it there.

As this is not a bug but two conflicting shortcuts systems, I will now close this bug.
