Since I often receive pdf large format print pieces I wanted to print them on my plotter. Unfortunately I can not select "Custom" via the print menu, properties and format. Thus, it is not possible for me to set defined paper sizes. Is there a solution for this?

This is an issue in the Qt print dialog. It has been fixed for Qt 5.11, s. [1], so the problem should be solved once you have Qt >= 5.11.

Please reopen or create a new bug report in case you should still have problems then.
